The short version: Love Pinch is for two people who want to reach each other. Be kind, do not abuse it, and we will keep it running as well as we can. The longer version follows.
You need an account, and you must be at least 16. Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. One account is one person; sharing an account with someone else means they can send gestures as you, which is not something we can untangle afterwards.
Gestures, to one partner you have paired with. You may create your own gestures with their own names and vibration patterns.
You must not use Love Pinch to harass, frighten, or wear someone down. If a gesture is unwelcome, it is unwelcome — the app is for reaching someone who wants to be reached. Either person can unpair at any time, from inside the app, without the other’s agreement, and we will not ask you to justify it.
That a gesture you send resolves to a state you can see: felt, delivered, or failed. We will not pretend something arrived when it did not.
Sending affection is never behind a paywall. Premium features may exist, but reaching your partner will not be one of them.
We cannot promise the service is never down, that a phone always has signal, or that Apple and Google always deliver a notification promptly. We can promise you will be told the truth about what happened.
Any subscription is purchased through the App Store or Google Play, and their rules govern billing, renewal and refunds. A subscription covers both people in a couple, paid by one of you. Cancel any time in your store account; you keep what you paid for until the period ends.
The gestures you create are yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to your partner, which is the entire point, and nothing more than that.
You can delete your account in the app at any time; what happens to your data is described in the privacy policy. We may suspend an account that is being used to harass someone or to attack the service — and if we do, we will tell you why.
Love Pinch is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
If we change these terms materially, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
Who you are agreeing with. Love Pinch is operated by Octany Labs (trading as Love Pinch), registered in the Netherlands. Postal address on request, and on the store listing. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any dispute belongs to the Dutch courts. Questions: hello@lovepinch.app.
